Searching for some fun in the sun? Time to try out these beach games!

Continuing our vacation-themed July posts, this week we look at beach trips! Inspired by our recent trips to the beach this year, we came up with these great games to play at the beach with your kids!

🏰 Castle Stories

Go beyond building sand castles and come up with a story to explain your sand kingdom. Who lives there? What do they do all day? Do they enjoy living there or do they long for adventure? 

🐚 Shell Phones

We all know that we can hear the ocean from a conch shell but any shell can work for short-range conversations. Find some shells to pretend to use as phones to talk to the different fish and crustaceans that live in the ocean. What do the different fish sound like? What do the seahorses and jellyfish sound like? What do whales and sharks sound like?

🐾 Track Making

Make tracks in the sand that do not look like hands or feet and decide what new animal made those tracks. What is the name of this new animal? What do they look like? What do they sound like?
