Sibling day is upon us! Celebrate with these fun sibling-friendly games!
Having grown up with siblings, we wanted to take some time this Sibling Day and celebrate our built-in friends for life with a set of games to play!
📸 Remember When?
There are always two sides to every story, let's see how well memories match up! Print out some family photos from different events and place them down on a table. Take turns picking photos and telling the story of the picture from your perspective. What did you see? What did you hear? What did you smell?
🎈 Balloon Volleyball
A quarantine-friendly classic: blow up a balloon and pick an indoor play space to be the court. Mark where the halfway point of your court is by put down some masking tape or lining up some stuffed animals; have fun with it. Now have fun spiking the balloon down and trying to keep it from touching the ground on your side!
🏃 Our Tag
One of the best parts of having a sibling is making up your own games. Take the game tag. Now think, how can you change it a little bit to make it a game that only you and your sibling would know how to play? Maybe you have to score points and can only do it by tagging your front door? Maybe if you get tagged, you have to then compliment your sibling before you become it and get to chase after them?
We hope that you and your kids enjoy playing with siblings today and everyday!
